Planning Suite: plan, organize, event, rota, communicate

Planning Suite is a collection of hosted web based applications that
help distributed teams plan events and organise complex activites.

Variable billing

Rather than define hard and fast product tiers, we've chosen instead to bill for exactly what has been used. This means each feature has it's own price, and each customer has a very individual cost based on exactly what their usage is. On the 1st of each month each account will be debited according to the usage of the appropriate site and you will receive an account statement by email.

We expect most customers will start off in the free tier and should they deploy the system throughout their organization they'll out grow that tier. If this happens then they will need to begin crediting their account to permit continued extended usage.

Should an account be significantly in debt, then extended use of the product may be blocked until the account is credited. Login could ultimately be disabled, with the site ultimately being removed after appropriate warnings.

Fixed monthly billing

If you are worried about your bill being different each month, and would prefer to be in full control of your costs, then we suggest setting up a standing order for a the usual monthly amount. When the monthly email arrives you'll be able to monitor the outstanding balance which if your usage is stable and your standing order correct will be approximately zero. If the emails point out the account balance is large, then you can ether do a one off top up, or amend your standing order.

If this is not sufficient control, then we are considering implementing a usage cap for an account. With this in place, if a user tries to push your usage over your threshold, then the operation will be denied. You will be able to review your usage, either reducing usage of another feature to make room, or increasing the usage cap. You can then amend your regular payment in relation to this usage cap, ensuring that your account is always in credit.
